Vintage 1960s Tuxedo Jacket Brocade Satin Shawl Lapels Mens Size L

This is a wonderful vintage tuxedo jacket featuring brocade satin shawl lapels.  The lapels are silk with a woven floral pattern and they are trimmed in rickrack.  The jacket dates to 1969 and has matching black silk satin cuffs.  It has a built-in jetted pocket at either side and a pocket at the left chest.  There is no vent or kick pleat.  The jacket does up with a single button at the waist.  There is one interior pocket that has the tailor’s label in it.  The interior is half lined with a woven paisley satin fabric.. 

Age: 1969.  Tailor’s label reads “October ’69

Shoulders:  19” across seam-to-seam

Waist: 48” around

Overall length: 30", measured flat

Condition:  It is in very good condition, very crisp and clean with no wear, tear or staining.  This tux jacket looks like it saw little use and was well cared for over the year This is a great 60s period tuxedo jacket - wonderful fabric and patterning, nice fit for a musician.
