This is beautiful quality pair of Ciner pearl earrings. Ciner used 18k gold plating and faux pearls that were imported from Japan that were made of glass, which was coated several times to create the glow of cultured pearls.
Mark: CINER - the use of a sans-serif Ciner mark would seem to indicate a manufacture date of pre-1980s. Ciner was founded in 1892 as a fine jeweller, but began production of quality costume jewelry during the early 1930s, basing their designs on fine jewelry.
Size: Each earring measures 1 in ldiameter
Condition: Both are in excellent condition with no noted wear.
