Vintage 1970s Dress Black Viscose Button Print by Tricosa Paris Made in France M

This is a wonderful vintage dress made in France by Tricosa Paris.  The dress is made of 100% quality viscose, printed with a button and thread pattern in pastel tones of green, yellow, violet and peach against a black background.  It is made with a bateau/boat neckline, dolman styled sleeves in an above the wrist length, gathered at the cuff, and with a to-the-ankle length body that has elasticized gathering around the waist.  It is unlined and does up the back with a nylon zipper.

Material:  All viscose rayon.  Beautiful fall, this is a quality European viscose used at the time, similar to what Jean Muir was using.

Sizing:

This will fit a medium size, but please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Sleeves:  27” from the neck opening to the cuff 

Bust:  40” around, taken at the sleeve armpit, but difficult to assess due to the dolman cut of the sleeve 

Waist:  30” around

Hips:  38” around, meant to fall loosely

Length:  51”, measured flat

Condition:  This is in very good condition with no wear, tear, staining or odour.  The waistband may have lost some elasticity, but I don’t think that this affects fit.  This dress looks to have seen little use and was well cared for over the years.
