Vintage 1970s White Dinner Jacket - Gillio Paris -Size M

From the 1970s here's a white dinner jacket sold by “Gillio Paris”, with locations at 56 rue St Ferreol Marseilles and 10 rue Thiers, Aix (en Provence). This company no longer is in business. The jacket has medium width peaked lapels and is made in a six mother of pearl shell button double breasted style. The shoulders of the jacket are padded and the sleeves have two mother of pearl shell buttons at either cuff. There is a flapped pocket at either side and a pocket at the left chest. The jacket has a 10 1/2” vent at the back and is fully lined with an off-white rayon fabric woven with a crown. It has three interior pockets, two larger and one small pocket. 

Fabric: Tergal Fibre Polyester et Laine (wool and polyester blend). There is a serial number on the fabric label which indicates that although synthetic, it is a quality French material

Sizing: No size is indicated, but this should fit a size 38/40 - please rely on the following measurements for fit, taken from the exterior (please take the cut of the garment into consideration):

Shoulders: 17 1/2” across shoulder/sleeve seam to shoulder/sleeve seam 

Sleeves: 24” from shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeve Inseam: 17” long

Chest: 43” around, taken under the arms

Waist: 38”, around

Overall length: 29”, measured flat

Condition: This jacket is in very good condition with no wear, tear or soiling except for a teeny tiny dark mark by one of the buttons (see last close-up photo), really minor and mentioned only in the interest of full disclosure. Otherwise, this jacket is very crisp and clean and looks to have seen little use and was well stored over the years.
