Vintage 1980s Faux Fur Coat Tiger Pattern Made in France L

This is a vintage faux fur coat made in France using an acrylic pile fabric printed in a tiger stripe pattern.  This faux fur coat has a wide shawl collar that can be worn down on the shoulders or up around the head. It has batwing aka Dolman style sleeves with cuffs that can be turned should you wish to do so.  The coat closes with a single button at the waist.  There is a horizontal pocket built into either side and the shoulders are padded.  It is fully lined in a quilted and stuffed black acetate fabric.  The coat is made in an oversized style, typical of 1980s design. 

Labels: Lou Caetan Paris France.  A second label reads Made in France.  Lou Caetan was a Canadian importer, incorporated in 1983 and dissolved in 2003, although I believe that they ceased activities in 1989..

Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this faux fur coat should fit a medium size, please rely on the following measurements for fit, taking the thickness of the fabric and the oversized style of this faux fur coat into account:

Shoulders:  20” across, estimated during to the dolman sleeve

Sleeves:  33” long from the mid-neck, 23” long from the estimated shoulder

Sleeve Inseam:  16”

Bust: 50” around, estimated - difficult to measure due to dolman sleeve

Waist: 42” around

Hips:  48” around

Overall length: 33", measured flat at the back from the neck seam

Condition:  This faux fur coat is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, staining.  There is a faint odour of perfume around the neckline.  The coat looks like it saw little use and was well stored over the years.
