Vintage 1980s Gucci Italy Red Travel Raincoat Logo Pattern w Carrying Pocket M

This is a vintage 80s era travel raincoat made in Italy by Gucci.  The fabric is made of 100% polyester and folds down in such a way so as to fit into a zippered pocket pouch that is built into the left sleeve.  It features a double G logo pattern in grey against the red background.  The raincoat has a matching belt that cinches the waist and does up with five metal snaps down the  front, each with Gucci Italy and the double G logo raised on it.  It has a small rounded collar and the sleeves are cut full.  The sleeve cuffs are cinched at the wrist with a metal snap.  There is a pocket built into either side.  The piece when in pouch form, measures 7 1/2” by 7 1/2” with a depth of 4”.

Label: G Gucci s.p.A. Made in Italy 100% Polyester with the Gucci shield.  Guccio Gucci S.r.l. was renamed Guccio  Gucci S.p.a. in 1982, when it became a publicly traded company.

Sizing: Size M for medium is indicated, but please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Sleeves:  25 1/2” long from neck seam to cuff

Sleeve Inseam:  16” long

Bust: 50” around

Waist: 50” around

Hips:  50” around

Length: 44”, measured flat

Condition:  It is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, stains or odours - there is some slight wear to the finish on the metal snaps, but this is minor.  This does get wrinkled looking when folded into the sleeve pocket.  Otherwise, this was well cared for over the years and looks like it saw little use.

This is a wonderful example of innovative Gucci design from the heyday of Gucci, when it was truly a luxury maker - this is a great looking raincoat in an attractive red colour, sure to be noticed!
