Vintage 1982 Nabisco Chipit Cookie Jar Google Eyed Chocolate Chip

This is a wonderful ceramic cookie jar made to advertise Nabisco Chipit chocolate chips. The jar has google eyes and the lid is shaped so that it looks like it is smiling. The cookie jar was introduced in 1982 - the label on the underside reads Standard Brands Canada Limited Is The authorized User Of The Mark 1982. The jar is glazed in brown. The jar measures 9 1/2 in height and has a bottom diameter of 9 1/2. The cookie jar is in very clean condition but has a few defects - a chip to the side bottom edge of the lid, a glaze type chip to the top edge of the bottom of the jar and a tight hairline to the back of the lid (see last three close-up photos). Despite the damage, this cookie jar still displays very well. Very cute kitchen display and addition to a collection - not a common cookie jar, so damage should be forgiven!
