Vintage 50s Party Dress White Nylon Chiffon Sequinned Bust S

This is a lovely vintage 50s party dress made of white chiffon with a sequinned bust.  The chiffon is applied over an acetate slip that is supported by white tulle.  It has pleated shoulder straps that cover the upper arm and two sashes that fall down the back - they can be used as a scarf if desired (see last close-up photo).  It has a squared neckline and dropped waist - the skirt is gathered in tucks below the dropped waistline so that it flares out to a low calf length.  This vintage 50s party dress was photographed with a crinoline - the use of a crinoline creates a fuller look although it’s not absolutely necessary.  The dress closes with a metal zipper down the back.  The bust has sewn-in stays for extra support.

Sizing:  No size is indicated, and although this vintage 50s party dress should fit a medium size, please note the following measurements for fit:

Bust:  34”-35” 

Waist:  24”-25” 

Dropped waist:  28”

Hips:  Full - meant to fall loosely/flare out

Length:  45”, measured flat from the top to the hemline

Condition:  This vintage 50s party dress is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, stains or odour.
