Vintage 60s Chinese Embroidered Pure Silk Blouse Size M

This is a late 1960s or early 1970s era pure silk short sleeved blouse made in China.  The blouse is embroidered in a grey floral design against a light cream white background.  The collar is long and pointy, in keeping with the style of the time.

It has an open neckline and closes with four buttons down the front - the original owner added a white velcro strip between the first and second buttons so that the blouse wouldn’t “gap” at the bust.  It is not at all apparent and actually not a bad idea - it’s stitched in, so you could remove it if desired.

Sizing: Size M for medium is indicated, but this is a vintage sizing, so please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Shoulders:  14” across from seam to seam

Sleeves:  8” from shoulder seam

Bust:  37” around

Waist:  34”, but meant to be tucked in

Overall length:  24”

Condition:  It is in very good condition - very clean and looks like it saw little, if any, use.  This has been well kept and stored over the years.
