This is a very nice quality black leather cafe racer motorcycle jacket made during the 1960s by Brimaco.  I believe that this cafe racer is a ladies model as it is fitted at the waist, and quite small - the original owner was a woman.  Brimaco was the brand name of the British Manufacturing Co. of Canada (aka “British Cycle Leathers”), a firm that is still highly regarded for the quality that they produced, especially their cafe racer jacket.  The jacket has a heavy duty Acme brand metal double zipper down the front and a snap tab closure at the neck.  It has a narrow stand-up collar and zip-up pockets at the upper right side and on either lower side, all with Acme metal zippers.  The shoulders are slightly padded.  The sleeves have zippers at the ends and there is a zipper at either bottom side of the back.  There is a wind flap behind the metal zipper and a double flap at the back shoulders.  The jacket is fully lined in quilted nylon.

Label:  Brimaco Quality Workmanship British Mfg. Co. Ltd. Made in Canada

Sizing: There is no size label on this cafe racer jacket, but it should fit a small to XS size -  please note the following measurements for fit, taking the cut and thickness of the leather into account:

Shoulders:  15” from shoulder seam to shoulder seam

Sleeves: 23 1/2”

Sleeve Inseam:  17”

Chest: 34” around, taken under the arms

Waist:  30” around

Bottom:  36” around

Length:  24”, measured flat

Condition:  This cafe racer jacket is in excellent condition with no pronounced wear - there are a couple of very light scratches on the right sleeve, really very minor and only mentioned in the interest of full disclosure. All of the zippers are shiny with no wear whatsoever.  This jacket looks to have seen very little use and has been very well cared for and stored.

The cafe racer jacket has its origin in early 60s London, where “rockers” used their cafe racer motorcycle, a small powerful bike built for speed rather than comfort, to travel between London cafe hangouts.  The cafe racer jacket bestows an authentic early rocker look upon the wearer even if you don’t own a motorcycle.

This is an excellent quality leather cafe racer jacket - hard to find in this condition, nice acquisition if it fits!
