Vintage Celine Paris Skirt Orange Wool w Leather Waistband

This is a beautiful quality Celine Paris skirt.  This Celine Paris skirt is cut with three box pleats at both the front and back, which give the skirt flare from the upper thigh down to the hemline.  It has red leather strips at the front of the waist that are joined by a gold plated metal horse bit buckle that is impressed with “Celine”.  This Celine Paris skirt is fully lined in orange acetate - it closes at the back with a metal zipper and hook and eye.  
Label:  Celine Paris Made in France.  Celine was founded in 1945 by husband and wife team Richard and Celine Vipiana as a children’s shoe store.  In 1967, they present a line of elegant sportswear and by the 1970s, Celine is known as a luxury house, producing high quality fashion garments.

Condition: This Celine Paris skirt is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, stains or odour - the only issue is a split to the surface on the leather band on the right side, as well as other creasing, fairly minor.  Both leather straps have slight soiling, but this could be cleaned by a leather specialist
