Brand Poppy's Vintage Clothing

This is a vintage early 60s, maybe late 50s, skirt made of printed silk.  The skirt has tucks around the bottom of the waistband, so that the skirt is full and falls in wide pleats.  The silk is printed with flowers, leaves and grapes in bright tones of red, blue, yellow, pink, teal green and black against a white background.  It is lined with a white acetate slip and closes with a metal zipper at the back and hooks and eyes at the waist.

Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this should fit an XS to small size, please rely on the following measurements for fit, taken from the exterior:

Waist: 23” around, but the hooks can be moved to allow for a 25” waist

Hips:  Full

Overall length: 22“, measured flat

Condition: This skirt is in very good condition with the exception of two very light brown spots, really negligible.  They may come out with the right treatment, but they really don’t detract from the skirt.  Otherwise, no wear, or tear and clean, ready to use.
