Vintage English Bone China Cup & Saucer Roses Pink and Yellow on Green Clare Teacup

This is a lovely bone china cup and saucer set made by the Clare China Co. at the Ruby Works of Longton, Staffordshire. The set is decorated with large pink and yellow roses on the exterior of the cup and top of the saucer - in addition, there is a pink rose on the interior of the cup. The foot, handle and top edge of the cup are painted in gold and the saucer is also similarly finished in gold trim. The mark on the underside of each piece was used as of 1951. The set is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or wear - this displays beautifully. The saucer measures 5 1/2 in diameter and the cup has a height of 3 and a top diameter of 3 5/8. This is a beautiful display cup and saucer, very pretty colour and lovely roses!
