This is a wonderful wedding dress designed by Jessica McClintock for her label “Gunne Sax” as part of the “Romantic Renaissance Bridal Collection”. The Romantic Renaissance line was introduced by Gunne Sax in 1980. The dress is made with a choker collar, net covered V shaped neckline, a lace bib over the bodice and back and three ribbon and lace flounces down the skirt. The fabric features a combination of netting and lace - note the net arms with lace panels down the sleeve. The dress has an elasticized waist with loops that would accommodate a belt - there is no belt with the dress, however. It does up the upper back with six faux pearl buttons. I don’t believe that this dress was ever used - it still has its original collar stiffener (Des-L Stik-Aid - see close-up photo), and everything, including the labels, are crisp and clean.
