Vintage Head Vase Kim Novak 8 Tall Napco Ceramic Japan Napcoware C 7473

This is a vintage ceramic head vase purported to represent Hollywood actress Kim Novak. She has blonde hair and is wearing a black dress. Her facial features are decorated is fleshtone and she has heavy eye makeup and red lips. She is decorated with pearl drop earrings and a double strand beaded necklace. Her dress has a pearl studded leaf decoration that is meant to represent a brooch. She measures 8 in height at her highest point. The piece is stamped with Napcoware C 7473 on the underside. It is in very good condition with only minor defects. Her chin has a low glaze spot that almost looks like a beauty mark, and this is original to the making of the piece. Her left jaw line has a trace of old glue and some scuffing - again, I think that this is original to the manufacture. There is a tiny fleabite glaze flake to the top edge, very minor. You can view close-ups of these in my photos, but under normal viewing, they dont really detract from the piece. This is a wonderful head vase - nice size, very attractive model.
