Vintage Mens Cashmere Coat Navy Blue Overcoat 1980s Made in Belgium Size M

This is a cashmere coat or mens overcoat made in a navy blue colour.  It is made in a double breasted style with wide peaked lapels, very much borrowed from 1940s mens fashion, although probably dating to the late 70s or 1980s.  Each sleeve has a three button cuff.  There is a flapped pocket at either side, a pocket at the left chest and the coat has a 24’’ kick pleat at the back.  The coat is fully lined in a viscose satin.

Sizing: This is about a size 40-42 regular with a fitted cut, more like a 40, but please rely on the following measurements for fit, taking the thickness of the fabric into account:

Shoulders:  20” across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam

Sleeves:  27” from the shoulder seam

Sleeve Inseam:  18”

Chest: 43” around 

Waist: 42” around

Hips:  44” around

Length: 46”, measured flat

Condition:  It is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, stains or odors - this coat looks to have seen little use and was well stored and cared for over the years.
