This is a wonderful pendant modernist brooch stamped only with 925, so most likely artisan made during the 1970s or 80s. This modernist brooch features a wonderful abstract form - knot-like, but one might even see a woman’s legs emanating from a rope swing, The middle section is gold washed while the rest of the brooch is silver coloured. It has a safety pin type clasp as well as a top loop should you wish to wear it as a pendant. It is a good sized piece, measuring 3 3/8” in height, 2” across and 3/4” in depth - it weighs 49 grams (1.72 oz). It is in very good condition with no pronounced wear - there is scratching seen in the extreme close-up photos, but it is not noticeable under normal viewing.
