Vintage Punk Rock T Shirt The Clash 1977 No Elvis Authentic

This is an original The Clash vintage punk rock t-shirt bought in London during the mid-1970s by the lady from whom I acquired it.  This The Clash t-shirt reads “No Elvis” and has a zipper affixed through an image of Elvis.  Further below the image of Elvis is an image of The Clash with “The Clash” printed above and “1977” printed to the left.  All of this is a reference to the Clash song “1977- No Elvis, Beatles or The Rolling Stones” - read the lyrics further below.  1977 was the Clash’s manifesto song and featured in the BBC documentary film 1977, filmed just prior to the famous 1977 Roxy New Year’s Day concert, considered a defining moment of the punk movement.  You can see the film on u-tube.  There is a purple zipper affixed to the back - both zippers are functional.  The printing is in dark grey/faded black on a pinkish cotton fabric. There is a strip of black fabric along either shoulder.  The background has a slight pinkish tone to it - this was meant to be worn by a female.  The only label is a pink Union Jack - you can see that other tags (size/content) had been there, but are now missing.  Although no size label, this should fit a small size, please note the following measurements for fit, taking the style of the t-shirt into consideration:

Shoulders:  15 1/2” across from seam to seam

Sleeves:  5 1/2” long

Chest:  32” around, taken under the arms, stretches out to as much as 35”

Waist:  32” around, but stretches

Overall length:  20”, measured flat 

Condition:  It is in very good condition - some fading, a brownish stain at the bottom front (see last close-up photo) that I haven’t tried to remove, but otherwise, no holes and certainly very presentable as is.. 

This is an authentic original t-shirt, not a knock-off, from the very earliest days of The Clash - ultra rare and exceptionally collectible piece, especially for the Clash fan!
