Vintage Silk Kimono Dressing Gown Hand Embroidered NWT Sz M

This is a wonderful vintage silk kimono dressing gown made in China but definitely has age - I would guess 1970s or 80s era.  This vintage silk kimono still retains its original Lotus brand hang tag.  It features gorgeous embroidery consisting of flowers and birds on the back and flowers down either front side and on the sleeves.  The embroidery is in silk in tones of pink, green, orangey red, ochre gold and brown, all outlined with gold metallic thread.   The piece is lined in black silk and closes with a matching black silk sash belt.

Label on neck: 100% Pure Silk.

Sizing: Size M is indicated, and although this vintage silk kimono should fit a range of medium sizes, please note the following measurements for fit:

Shoulders:  25” across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam, 51” across the top including the sleeves

Sleeves:  13” long from shoulder seam

Sleeve Inseam:  8”

Bust:  48” around with a normal overlap at the opening, but meant to hang loosely

Waist:  48” around, but meant to be cinched with the matching belt

Hips: Full

Length:  52”, measured flat at the back from the neck seam

Condition: This vintage silk kimono is in excellent condition - with its hang tag still present and no signs of wear, I believe that this was never used.
