This is a beautiful quality pair of unused 1950s/60s era brown leather gloves that were made in Canada by Paris Glove using English leather. They came with a lot of gloves that I recently acquired, most unused and all dating to the 1950s and 60s. They are in like-new condition, as they are still connected with their original string and still with their original foil tag. They have been well stored. The interiors of the gloves are stamped “Paris Glove 9 Table Cut” and “Imported English Leather”. Paris Glove was founded by two Czech immigrants to Canada, who worked in the glove industry in France during the 1930s, and established their glove business in Montreal in 1945. They are one of the only North American manufacturers of their age still in business today.
Size: The interior is stamped as a size 9 and the tag also indicates size 9, but please rely on the following measurements. They have a length of 10 1/4” to the middle finger. They measure 4 1/4” across the palm - although there is some stretch, please be aware of this measurement, perhaps measure another pair of gloves that you may own and know that new gloves need to be worked in. The middle finger measures 4” in length.
This is a very nice quality pair of unused vintage gloves as one would expect from Paris Glove manufacture of the period - hard to buy quality like this today!
