Vintage Wm Notman & Son Photograph Canadian Soldier Royal Montreal Regiment

This is a photo of a Canadian soldier, a member of the Royal Montreal Regiment, that is signed Notman & Son. The photo is in a cardboard folder and has a translucent paper overlay. Photos that are signed Notman & Son date from 1882 onwards when Williams son Willam McFarlane Notman partnered with his father - the studio was taken over by a subsequent generation and closed in 1935. Im unsure of the date of this photo, but I would think 1920s - 1930s era. The photo measures 4 by 6 while the folder measures 10 3/8 in height and 7 1/4 closed. It is in very good condition with no noted damage or wear.
