This is a 1970s era wool skirt made by the renowned Parisian fashion house of Yves St. Laurent.  The skirt is woven in a plaid herringbone pattern in black and rust brown.  It is made in a wraparound kilt style that closes at the right side, plain at the front and pleated at the sides and back.

Label: Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Paris Made in France.  This came from a lot of vintage French designer clothing that I acquired and I believe that this may have been a sample.

Sizing: Size 42 is indicated, but this is a vintage French sizing - it should fit a small size, but please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Waist:  26”-27”

Hips:  36”

Length:  26.5”

Condition: It is in excellent condition - very clean and looks like it saw little, if any, use.

This is a very nice quality skirt by one of the greatest Parisian fashion designers……great for winter wear!
