Vintage 1970s Tweed Sport Coat Mens Jacket - Bruce & Scott Tailors - Paris -Size M

This is a quality tweed jacket or sport coat that was tailored in Italy for “Bruce & Scott Scotch Tailors Paris”.  The fabric is woven with a checked pattern in tones of maroon, bright green and blue against a green and brown tweed background.  The jacket has a flapped pocket at either side and a pocket at the left chest.  It has medium width notched lapels and closes with three plastic buttons at the front.  There are three similar buttons at either cuff and the back bottom has a 7 1/2” double vent. The jacket is fully lined in a grey viscose fabric - the exterior is 100% wool.  It has a pocket built into the interior at either side. 

Sizing: Italian size 50 is indicated, so this should be equivalent to a US size 40 regular - please rely on the following measurements for fit (compare measurements with a similar jacket that you presently own or to your own body measurements, taking the cut of the garment into account):

Shoulders: 19 1/2” across from shoulder/sleeve seam to shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeves: 24” from the shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeve inseam: 16”

Chest:  44” around, taken under the arms

Waist:  40” around

Overall length:  31”, measured flat

Condition:  It is in very good condition with no stains, odours, wear or tears - this jacket looks to have seen very little use and has been well cared for.
