Eskandar Sweater Coat 100% Baby Alpaca Dark Brown O/S

This is an Eskandar sweater coat that was hand loomed in Scotland using 100% baby alpaca.

This Eskandar sweater coat features a relaxed, oversized fit typical of Eskandar's minimalist design aesthetic, with dropped shoulder seams and wide cut body. It has no closures and is secured closed by a matching sash belt. The open neckline and simple design make this sweater coat versatile for layering, fitting well within the Lagenlook style.  The knit is made in a heavier weight in a dark chocolate brown colour - it is substantial yet very soft and falls beautifully.  This Eskandar sweater coat is pre-owned, originally bought at Neiman Marcus.

Unlabeled as to size, this Eskandar sweater coat has a generous, cut that accommodates a range of body types and is suitable for any gender.  It will fit a woman’s plus size or be extra loose for lesser sizes. 

Please rely on the following measurements for fit, keeping the relaxed, oversized style of this Eskandar pullover sweater in mind:

Shoulders & sleeves:  34” from the mid-neck to the end of the sleeve / 68” from one cuff, over the shoulders to the opposite cuff

Sleeve inseam:  14”

Chest:  58” - 29” across pit-to-pit, with a normal overlap at the opening

Waist:  54”, meant to be cinched with the sash belt

Length:  44” measured flat at the back from the neck

Although pre-owned, this vintage Eskandar sweater coat is in very good condition with no noted defect - it saw very moderate use.  The only issue is a bit of red marking to the labels, really not a serious consideration.

This is a wonderful, high quality vintage Eskandar sweater coat - Eskandar uses only the best fabrics and a baby alpaca sweater coat would have originally been very expensive.  Nice heavier weight quality knit, soft, cozy and stylish!
