This is a wonderful vintage 1940s mens overcoat made in a black wool, maybe with a bluish cast. This vintage 1940s mens overcoat has padded squared shoulders, wide peaked lapels and a six button double breasted front. There is a jetted pocket at either side and a pocket at the left chest. The exterior is made of a heavy weight wool. The coat has a 17” button-down centre kick vent and is half lined in a black satin fabric.

Sizing: There is no size tag but this vintage 1940s mens overcoat should fit a medium to large t size, probably about a US size 40-42, depending on if you want to wear a suit jacket underneath. Please note the following measurements for fit:

Sleeves: 25” from the shoulder seam
Sleeve Inseam: 17 3/4”
Chest: 48” around, taken under the arms - 24” across pit-to-pit
