This is a vintage early 1970s suede leather jumper dress made in a reddish caramel brown colour. The dress has a V shaped neckline, is sleeveless and closes with ten brass snaps down its front. It has decorative white stitching and a faux flapped pocket at either side. The waist is defined by a matching faux belt. It is lined in black rayon acetate fabric..
Label: Only a cardboard tag that reads Lot Size 12. I’ve had early 1970s suede jackets that were similar to this jumper dress.
Sizing: As mentioned, size 12 is indicated, and although this should fit a size large, please rely on the following measurements for fit, taking the thickness of the suede leather into consideration:
Shoulders: 15” across
Bust: 38” around, taken under the arm openings
Waist: 34” around
Hips: 38” around
Overall length: 46“, measured flat
Condition: This suede leather jumper dress is in excellent condition with no pronounced wear except for a small rip to the lining (see last close-up photo) - this has been very well preserved and looks to have seen very little use.
