1970s Vintage Mens Overcoat English Pure Wool Holt Renfrew

This is a vintage mens overcoat made in England of pure new wool.  This vintage mens overcoat dates to the 1970s due to its style - it has higher set medium width notched lapels, a three button closure, three button split cuffs, a flapped pocket built into either side, a faux chest pocket and a single 18 1/2” kick vent at the back.  It is fully lined in a black satin viscose fabric.  

Retailer’s label:  Made in England Holt Renfrew CA00985.  Holt Renfrew is a luxury brand boutique type Canadian department store, known for offering top designer and private label fashion. 

Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this vintage mens overcoat should fit a US size 40-42 depending on if you wish to wear a suit jacket underneath, please note the following measurements for fit, taking the thickness of the fabric into account:

Shoulders:  20” from shoulder seam to shoulder seam

Sleeves: 25” from the shoulder seam

Sleeve Inseam:  16 1/4”

Chest: 47” around - note that sizing is usually 5”-6” less than chest measurement on an overcoat

Waist:  44” around

Hips:  48” around

Length:  45”

Condition:  This vintage mens overcoat is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear or staining - it looks to have seen little use and was well cared for over the last 50 or so years.  Being pre-owned, you may wish to have it dry cleaned
