1950s Vintage Canada Customs Officer Uniform Jacket Sz 42 T

Brand Poppy's Vintage Clothing
This is a rare 1950s vintage Canada Customs officer uniform jacket. This vintage Canada Customs officer uniform jacket has six gold toned buttons with “Canada Customs” appearing within two blue enamel bars. The buttons have the Queen’s crown, so the jacket dates to after June 1953, or possibly prior but had the buttons changed. The jacket’s style is in keeping with late 1940s or early 1950s fashion. It has a double breasted front with peaked lapels, padded squared shoulders, a chest pocket and a flapped pocket at either side. It is fully lined in black twill fabric.
