Vintage Escada Silk Skirt Margaretha Ley Sz 38 Germany

This is a beautiful vintage Escada silk skirt, printed with a floral pattern in white against brown with a couple of blue accents - the waist and hemline are finished with solid blue silk.  This vintage Escada silk skirt dates to the 1980s, when luxury brands were producing exceptional quality.  It is gathered under the waist so that it falls in drapes and it closes with an overlap and with two buttons at the side waist.  There is a pocket on either side.  The skirt is unlined.

Label: Escada Made in Western Germany by SRB.  Escada was founded in 1976 by Margaretha Ley and her husband Wolfgang.  Margaretha passed away in 1992 and had been the principle designer for Escada before her passing. 

Fabric label: 100% silk

Sizing: German size 38 is indicated, which is equivalent to a US size 10. Please rely on the following measurements for fit, taking the style of this vintage Escada silk skirt into account:

Waist:  28” around

Hips:  38” around, meant to fall loosely

Hemline:  90” around

Overall length: 30", measured flat

Condition: This vintage Escada silk skirt is in very good condition with no wear, tear, stains or odour..  It looks to have seen very little use and was well stored over the years.
