Vintage British 3 Piece Suit by Sumrie Leeds UK Dated 1971 M
$195.00
Brand Poppy's Vintage Clothing
This is a vintage British 3 piece suit made by Sumrie of Leeds for Meldrums of Aberdeen. The tailor’s label is dated 1971 but stylistically this vintage British 3 piece suit is stuck in the mid 1960s. The jacket is made with slightly padded shoulders, high set mid-width notched lapels, a three button front, a chest pocket and flapped side pockets - I posed it with the flaps inside the pockets, which is an option for wearing. The sleeve cuffs have two buttons on them. The jacket is fully lined and has a double vent back at the bottom. The vest has a four pocket front and closes with six buttons. The pants are made with a flat front and with legs that taper to the cuff.
